Our 10th release is out!
Recorded in front of live audience at the Monument to the Negev Brigade in the Negev desert of southern
Israel [30/10/2014] as part of an exhibition dedicated to 50 years to the negev monument / 50 years to dani karavan’s public art – curated by Adi Englman.
we wish to thank David Peretz, Adi Englman, Yael Cohen & the municipality of Be’er-Sheva for making this all come true <3
Our new album is out!
In late 2011, We Are Ghosts were invited to improvise a live soundtrack for an exhibition curated by Picnic magazine at Art Basel Biennale in Miami.
No notes were written in advance.
Everything was improvised on location.
This unusual experience was filmed into a 51 min documentary film “Miami – a musical film by We Are Ghosts” which depicts a unique journey into creating intuitive music by a strange band in a strange land.
This is the soundtrack of that film.
New We Are Ghosts track is featured in our label (Schwarz Neon Licht) sampler – this EP also features music by Shany Kedar & Benjamin Esterlis (two WAG members), Judah Ledgley, The Chill Marks & Morphlexis. the track itself “Mean Streets” is taken from our upcoming 9th album – “Miami Soundtracks”, which was recorded in Miami, Florida, in 2012 – this release would be accompanied with a film documenting our journey & recording experience in United States.

Another awesome news – our music video “All Alone” won first place in the Art-house film festival 2013 in L.A & is also an official selection at the International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts (IFFCA).
Our new music video is out!
The first official music video – “All Alone“, taken from our latest double LP “Bleeding/Healing“.
Filmed & directed by WAG members for three days in a secret abandoned power plant complex that lays four floors beneath the ground. the cryptic result is a direct correspondence with the song & the album themes.
– The mixing process of our new album (which recorded in a basement of an old abandoned leper’s hospital in Jerusalem) is almost finished! we’re really exited & wish you could be with us in the mixing studio right now to hear it all. The album is scheduled to be released at the end of this year (mid-end December)
meanwhile, here’s a small taste of tunes to come (not sure this tune is gonna make it to the finished album though):
Well, it sure did take us a while to update here again – but hack, we have a new recording session coming up!
yep, we’re setting up a recording studio in the basement of an old leper’s hospital in Jerusalem & for two days we are going to record our next album: without rehearsals or predetermined tunes.
our recording session is a part of a special Festi-Conference for Creative Collectives, it’s all going to take place in August 22-23 at the Jerusalem’s veteran Hansen House (The leper’s hospital) – we’re trying also to find the way to broadcast a live video feed of our recording session so our fans around the world can join us from the comfort of their rooms.
It was an amazing recording session & a great experience for us all,
we hope you’ll enjoy the tunes 🙂
Finally – our new album is here for your streaming/downloading pleasure!
